Joe de Carc

Joe de Carc is a French artist who perfectly knows how to combines two of his passions: reading and drawing.

A funny parisian

Joe de Carc was born and lives in Paris, which makes him less Parisian than Parisians. He joined the National School of Decorative Arts (École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs), rue d’Ulm.

In 2011 he co-created the creative studio Bureau Marie Louise, located in Paris, as you might already have guessed.

A book lover

Despite being glued to his Macintosh, he does not forget his pencils or his sketchbooks.
By frequenting the many booksellers in Paris and drawing, he ended up combining these two passions by using books as a support for his graphic work.
During your wanderings in Paris, you might stumble across one of his drawings stuck on a wall in the city. But that’s not sure either.
